  1. I'm glad you liked them. As you know, they're seriously my favorite cookie. I wonder if the greasiness has to do with the chilling time? I chilled mine 24+ hours and mine weren't very greasy... Just a thought.

  2. You say you would cut back on the butter? so how much would you do? thanks! These sound divine! I love a good soft cookie!

  3. I think I will experiment with 1 1/2 sticks. I will also try Jen's suggestion next time and chill for longer. They weren't so greasy that I wouldn't eat them, just a little more slick on the bottom than I am used too.

  4. He is such a great chef! And such a great idea to take one recipe and tweak it to get 3 results. Totally fun :)

  10. I have seen these so many times, and really need to try them! My husband loves cookies, and really loves Alton, so I'm pretty sure he'd be psyched if I made these :)

  11. I tried those and they are now our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I sent them in care packages to a few friends and got rave reviews & requests for the recipe. Don't remember having an issue with greasiness.

Hmm...now you've got me craving them again. Maybe this is a project for the weekend!
